1. Space Overview
Walking into this home at Wutongshu · Junlan Hezhu, the first impression is cleanliness. There is no hard partition between living and dining; the zones are defined naturally by flooring transitions, ceiling geometry, and cabinet boundaries. The dining table sits on the central axis of the unit, the sofa runs along the TV wall, and sightlines flow unobstructed from the entry all the way to the windows.Cream matte wall panels cover every wall, with cabinets matched to the same finish — a true "cabinet-as-wall" effect. Every external corner — columns, door jambs, cabinet side panels — is rounded. This curved joinery is one of Dinghao's signature high-end details: visually softening the space, and practically eliminating sharp corners for families with children or elderly members.
2. Dining Room: A Beam of Red Light Under the Ring Ceiling
The dining room is the visual centerpiece. The ceiling features three nested concentric rings with recessed black trim lines, and a projector point reserved at the center. Long black linear air vents and recessed downlights are integrated flush, keeping the ceiling clean. The round dining table is in black sintered stone, paired with cream-upholstered chairs finished with slim gold metal legs. Behind it sits a red-backlit glass display cabinet: vertical red backing, shelf LED strips, glass doors framing wine glasses and sculptural objects. The warm red glow diffuses softly through the glass, becoming the emotional light source of the room.
The cabinet also acts as a spatial divider — gently separating dining from the circulation hall without blocking light or sight. Curved transition columns on both ends match the rest of the wall paneling language.
On the other side runs a full sideboard: a counter-height open niche holds a coffee machine and cups, with warm LED strips in the open shelf — a practical coffee-and-prep area. The kitchen is separated from the dining room by a narrow-frame black glass sliding door. Transparent glass lets the dining area borrow kitchen light, while the thin black frame anchors the otherwise light-toned space.
3. Living Room: Marble, Wood Slats, and a Floating Feature Wall
The TV wall combines book-matched statuario marble with dark vertical wood slats: on the left, the flowing grey-white veining of the marble reads as a piece of abstract art; on the right, vertical wood grain transitions into open black display shelves holding framed photos, books, and decor objects. The seating is an L-shaped arrangement: a cream tufted chaise extends toward the window, layered with dark brown leather cushions, sitting low to the ground to reinforce the minimalist mood. A round black-glass coffee table on a sculptural metal base stays light and quiet against the feature wall.
At one end of the living room, a tea bar extends naturally: wood-grain door frame, stone countertop, open shelving, and a small sink tucked in — a second setting for hosting or quiet moments alone.
